Training & Placement Division, USTM
The Training & Placement Division of University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the university. The division also collaborates with leading organizations for Placement, internship and training program of students. The division liaises with different industrial establishments, corporate houses, MNC’s etc. to conduct campus placement drives graduate and post-graduate students from all disciplines of the University. USTM provides very god infra-structural facilities to conduct different process of selection like group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics.
The placement season runs throughout the year. Pre-Placement Talks, Job offers, interviews, selection of candidates and other information are announced through the Training & Placement division. The division evolves a broad policy framework every year besides a set of rules which are inviolable for the students.
The University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya’s Training & Placement Division helps the process of placing university graduates. Additionally, the division partners with eminent businesses to provide students with placement, internships, and training programmes. The division coordinates campus placement efforts for graduate and post-graduate students from all academic specialties of the university with various industrial companies, corporate houses, MNC’s, etc. In addition to handling other logistics, USTM offers excellent infrastructural facilities to perform various selection processes such group discussions, examinations, and interviews. The placement season period lasts the entire year.

Greetings from University of Science and Technology Meghalaya!!!
We are proud that University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM) is the first State Private University in the entire North East India—a University that has been awarded the accreditation rating of “A Grade” in its first cycle of assessment by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 2021. Again, The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya has been ranked among the top 200 universities of India in the seventh edition of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022 which has been declared recently by the Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan at New Delhi.
