Greetings from University of Science and Technology Meghalaya!!!
We are proud that University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM) is the first State Private University in the entire North East India—a University that has been awarded the accreditation rating of “A Grade” in its first cycle of assessment by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 2021. Again, The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya has been ranked among the top 200 universities of India in the seventh edition of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022 which has been declared recently by the Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan at New Delhi. It can be mentioned here that USTM is the only private university of the north-eastern region to achieve this place this year. The University has been involved in fulfilling the aspirations of young minds by imparting quality education by offering UG and PG courses in various disciplines from Business Administration, Arts and Humanities, Science, Computer Applications, Social work and many more.
In today’s liberalization, privatization, and globalization period, businesses are increasingly looking for employees with high employability, the necessary skills, and an innovative mindset. Their academic programmes give individuals access to open electives in a variety of academic fields in addition to their area of expertise. This distinction enables our students to successfully carry out their duties as team members in any organization’s cross-functional teams. Our long history of successful placements in top companies attests to the value of our students to those companies.
I have no doubt that our students will prove them capable and make a significant contribution to the expansion and achievement of your company.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our industry partners for their recognition of the strength of our talented and diverse workforce and for providing worthwhile possibilities.
Your upcoming visit to this school is something I am anticipating.
Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor, USTM
